Clairaudient

The ability to hear sounds and voices that are outside of the natural range of hearing is most commonly referred to as being clairaudient. This form of psychic power enables a psychic or medium to be able to converse with the supernatural and those who have died. For those who believe that they live in a house or area that is haunted, a clairaudient psychic is called in to find out who is haunting and why they have stayed behind. Being clairaudient does not mean that a person is not completely sane. Many clairaudient psychics use their abilities for purposes such as helping the police find out who murdered a victim or simply to communicate to a living person the message of their deceased loved one.

Clairsentient

Clairsentient is the term that is used to describe a psychic’s powerful sense of touch. This sense of touch allows a psychic or medium to feel what is happening around them in a house or in a specific area. Most psychics with this ability find it hard to be in areas that are near churches or cemeteries, both new and old. It is believed that after some are laid in to the ground, their spirit will roam the grounds in search of others who they know or simply because they have not accepted the fact that they have died. A psychic with clairsentient abilities will also allow them to transfer good feelings from a healthy person to a sick person.

Clairvoyance

Psychic hotlines and chat rooms boast a population of those who have the gift of clairvoyance and those who seek their visions and advice. According to Webster’s dictionary, the proper definition of clairvoyance is “an acute intuitive insight or perceptiveness, or the supposed power to see objects or events by one’s extra perceptivity senses”. Clairvoyant people are those who believe that they have the power to see into the future, see the past, and communicate with those who have passed on from this life. These powers can reveal themselves to people who are as young as small children or can suddenly show themselves to elderly people as they are preparing to pass on.

Channeling

Channeling is the means by which a psychic receives message from the spirit world. One example of channeling would be if a psychic were to tell you that your deceased father is coming through to him or her. However, some are able to see future events.

Déjà vu: Have You Experienced It Before?

Have you ever felt like you have completed a certain activity before or been to a certain place when the reality is that you have not? Déjà vu is defined as the feeling of having experienced or seen something before. Millions of individuals claim to have had at least one déjà vu experience before. With a high number of déjà vu believers there are many people who want to learn more.

A feeling of déjà vu can happen at just about anytime. It is not uncommon for the feeling to come about when traveling, meeting with friends, or hearing news reports. Many people report the feeling of déjà vu when they are traveling to a new area. Even though they have never been in the area before, there is something about the surroundings that makes it seem as if they have been there before.

Empath

When someone can psychically feel the emotions of another person, animal or place, they are called an empath. This ability often works hand in hand with telepathy, the ability to communicate without using conventional methods. Not only can empaths know what a person, animal, or place is currently feeling, but also what they felt in the past and will feel in the future. While most people can tell if someone is upset by visual clues, an empath can see deeply hidden feelings, feelings that normal people cannot sense. Even people who put on a brave face and try to hide their feelings can have their true feelings read by an empath.

ESP

ESP stands for extra sensory perception. It is used to describe someone who knows things using something other than our five innate senses of sight, taste, touch, smell and hearing. For years, many cultures have believed in ESP and the powers of feeling held by certain people. In women, it is often referred to as a “woman’s intuition.” It is the ability to just know something is going to happen. How many times have you turned on your television to a program where someone was being hypnotized? Hypnosis is something that occurs just about every single day. As with many other events and conditions, hypnosis is highly debated among everyday individuals, scientists, and healthcare professionals. Despite the fact that many individuals do not believe in hypnosis, there are millions of individuals who are lining up for the experience.

A common mistake that many individuals make is making assumptions when it comes to hypnosis. There are many who automatically believe that hypnosis is fake. They determine this without personally being hypnotized or knowing someone who has been. Everyone is encouraged to try out a particular thing before making an assumption and it should be the same with hypnosis.

Occult

The word occult comes from the Latin occultus meaning hidden refering to secret knowledge. Today it is synonymous with knowledge of the visible, science, and supernatural, translated commonly as 'hidden knowledge' implying that it is only meant for certain people and it is a knowledge that must be kept hidden. To most occultist it is the study of Truth by using pure reason to explain deeper spiritual realities with material science. Direct insight into the occult is said to be achieved by using both the mind and spirit.

 

The psychic advice you receive should be just that advice. The psychic should not in any way tell you what to do. They can only give you a reading and tell you what they see about you and your life. The decision to change that path is always left in your hands. They should never give you negative guidance, like such things as doing something illegal or harmful to your self. They should also never tell you they see in your future that you are going to die. This can be a scare tactic to try to get more money.

Psychic Ability

Psychic ability is like a sixth sense. It is receiving knowledge or information outside your own intellect, knowledge, and experience. Everyone has some form of psychic ability. But, most people do not pay attention when they receive this information they usually just ignore the knowledge or sometimes just don’t remember it.

What is a psychic

Most everyone has heard the term “psychic”, but may not know exactly what a psychic is. A psychic is a person that can see and know things most of us cannot. Sometimes called a medium or spiritualist, they can sense things other people can’t by means other than the five senses we all possess: smell, touch, hearing, sight, and taste. A psychic may have abilities such as clairvoyance (the ability to “see” distant people, objects or events), psychometric (the ability to be exposed to an object or area and know its past), and precognition (the ability to know about events before they occur). They often do readings for an individual to help give guidance with decisions, tell them what will happen in the future, or help them come in contact with a loved one who has passed on.
